Lyndsay Gasser
Admissions Counselor
Lyndsay is an Admissions Counselor at Asana Recovery. Her typical tasks and responsibilities include responding to admission inquiries and communicating with potential clients through the pre-admission process. She is also responsible for collecting insurance information, verifying benefits for each client, and ensuring that clients understand the program expectations at Asana Recovery.
She works closely with the Senior Admissions Counselor, Director of Clinical Outreach, and Business Development Representative to help ensure a seamless experience with every client.
Working in the addictions industry is important to Lyndsay, as she wants to support those struggling with addiction. She strives to provide hope and opportunities for being clean and sober.
She says, “I absolutely believe that in order to stay healthy and maintain mental well-being you must create an environment that includes choosing the right people that are a positive influence and are leading a healthy life themselves. (…) The number one thing I have learned in my life is that human kindness and patience goes along way in this industry. I will continue to give that to those struggling with addiction because I’ve seen a lot in my life and I’ve been in this industry for about 10 years. I’ve also seen amazing transformations and that’s why I continue to do what I do.”
In her free time, Lyndsay can typically be found working out, including running, cycling, participating in triathlons, and doing hot yoga. She enjoys walking her one year-old French bulldog named Sonny G. She also likes spending her time with her family, going for walks to the beach, having wonderful dinners, and enjoying beach life!
Lyndsay has earned a bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Louisville.
