How to Pay for Treatment at Asana Recovery
Asana Recovery offers three primary ways to pay for outpatient treatment: private pay (for clients who prefer to pay directly), insurance coverage (for clients with major medical plans), and flexible payment plans or financing (for spreading costs over time). Most clients use one of these — some combine them.
Private Pay
Private pay (or self-payment) is a direct payment arrangement where you cover treatment costs without involving insurance. This option appeals to clients who prioritize privacy from insurance records, those whose plans have limited behavioral health coverage, or anyone who prefers a straightforward cost structure.
With private pay at Asana Recovery, you get full access to our outpatient programs—Outpatient, IOP, PHP, and Virtual IOP—plus all specialty programs (Couples Wellness, LGBTQ+, Academic Pathways, Career Development, Veterans, First Responders, and Airline Industry) without the limitations insurance providers sometimes impose on coverage, length of stay, or specific treatment modalities.
Our admissions team works with you to design a payment arrangement that fits your budget. We can structure upfront payment, split payments over your treatment period, or combine private pay with insurance coverage for hybrid arrangements.
Insurance Coverage
Asana Recovery is in-network with major insurance providers, including Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Tri-West VA, Tri-Care, ComPsych, and Provider Network of America. We also accept most out-of-network PPO plans.
Being in-network typically means lower out-of-pocket costs and direct insurance billing. Out-of-network coverage often involves higher costs but still provides meaningful reimbursement for clients with PPO plans.
