Asana Recovery has recently received its state license from the Department of Health Care Services in California. Already boasting a highly trained staff of medical professionals, counselors, and therapists, we are now able to run our program independent of other organizations, allowing us to focus on our unique approach to addiction treatment – the Asana Way. This new license grants us the ability to operate a non-medical, residential, alcohol and drug program for adults. This means that our program will be able to continue to develop and grow, allowing us to help more people than ever.

The Asana Way isn’t just a one-size-fits-all, conventional treatment program. We understand that our clients, at the end of the day, want to not only reach a point of abstinence but to re-enter the world better equipped to live the fullest possible lives. You’ll learn life skills that will allow you to transition to sober living as effortlessly as possible, while knowing how to deal with potential roadblocks like triggers or cravings. Our staff consists of experts to help you through every step of recovery, and they are all either highly experienced and qualified or have their own past with addiction. You can rest assured that you will find no judgment here, only a desire to help. From the therapists and counselors to the personal trainers and chef, all of our staff members will work will each other and you to provide you with all the tools for success.

At Asana Recovery, we don’t believe in clinging to the old methods without looking to improvements in treatment. For example, our detox program does use tried and tested services such as evidence-based care for withdrawal symptoms and prescription medications, but we also offer alternative therapies. Similarly, our residential treatment program offers a comfortable setting for you to focus on your recovery – far from that image you might have in your mind of a small, bare room like you’ll sometimes see on television programs, we try to provide you with some of the comforts of home. The rooms are fully furnished, and your meals are provided three times a day. There is also access to high-speed Internet, cable television, and other entertainment options.

Because of our location in beautiful Southern California, the opportunities for outdoor activities – both therapeutic and recreational – are all but limitless. You might participate in a mindfulness session in the fresh air, attend a cookout, or get some light exercise.

Our team practices what we preach. We believe in seeking happiness through gratitude for life and by helping people reach their full potential. We encourage all of our clients to practice mindfulness, wherein we are fully present and aware of our surroundings and our place in them. Rather than becoming overwhelmed by the world, we can teach you to reduce your stress and gain insight into yourself and others.

In addition to the California state license, we are also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, an internationally-recognized nonprofit organization with the highest possible standards of care. If you or a loved one need help with quitting drugs or alcohol, consider Asana Recovery. Call us any time at (949) 438-4504 to get started.
