The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) estimates that only about 10% of people suffering from a substance addiction receive the treatment they need. Don’t be one of the many who let the costs of treatment get in the way of their recovery.

When viewed in comparison to the costs of maintaining an addiction for the long term, the costs of treatment are plainly well worth the investment. In addition, there are a variety of options available to help those in need ease the financial burdens imposed by treatment:

Loans: Whether given personally by a friend or family member or done commercially through a bank, taking on debt to pay for substance addiction treatment is generally considered a wise investment.

Employer Assistance: Some employers cover the costs of substance addiction treatment programs as a benefit to their employees.

Scholarships: Treatment centers themselves, as well as third-party charitable organizations, will often offer scholarships or grants to help those in need pay for treatment.

Health Insurance: Although there is a wide variability among health insurance carriers over the extent of their coverage for any medical issue, and while the specifics will vary from plan to plan, most plans will cover at least some, if not all, of the costs of an addiction treatment program.

The Asana Recovery Center offers a comprehensive supervised detoxification and residential treatment program and we are proud to accept the majority of insurance policies. Call us today at (949) 438-4504 to find out whether our drug and alcohol addiction treatment program may be the right fit for you.
