In-Network with Major Insurance Providers

Asana Recovery is in-network with major insurance providers, including Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Tri-West VA, Tri-Care, ComPsych, and Provider Network of America. Being in-network typically means lower out-of-pocket costs and direct insurance billing for our clients at our Fountain Valley outpatient center.

We also accept most out-of-network PPO plans. While OON coverage usually involves higher out-of-pocket costs, many clients with PPO plans still receive significant coverage. Our admissions team verifies your specific OON benefits in advance — no surprise bills.

For clients without insurance or those who prefer to bypass insurance entirely, we offer flexible self-pay arrangements designed around your budget. Whether you choose insurance or self-pay, our team tailors a path that lets you focus on recovery — not paperwork.

Asana Recovery is here to support you every step of the way – from insurance verification to personalized payment plans, ensuring your focus remains on the path to recovery.

Insurance Verification FAQs

  • 1. How long does insurance verification take?

Most insurance verifications complete within one business day. Some plans take a few hours; others may require additional contact with the insurance provider. Our admissions team contacts you as soon as we have your results — you don't need to chase us down.

  • 2. Is verifying my benefits a commitment to treatment?

No. Verifying your benefits is completely free and carries no obligation to enroll in treatment. Many people use the verification to understand their options before making any decisions. Whether or not you choose Asana Recovery, the information is yours to keep.

  • 3. What does the verification tell me?

Verification gives you a clear picture of what your specific plan covers for outpatient addiction and mental health treatment: your in-network status with Asana Recovery, your deductible status, your copay or coinsurance for each level of care (PHP, IOP, OP, Virtual), any pre-authorization requirements, and your annual out-of-pocket maximum. Coverage for behavioral health treatment is protected as an essential health benefit under federal law—including the Affordable Care Act and Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.

  • 4. Will my insurance company know I'm exploring treatment?

Our admissions team verifies benefits through the standard provider verification process. While insurance companies log benefit inquiries internally, this does not create a record of treatment, a claim, or any clinical information. If full confidentiality is important to you, we also offer self-pay options that bypass insurance entirely.
